Along the Delaware River in Lower Bucks County lie Lower Makefield Township and historic Yardley Borough. The Delaware Canal towpath follows River Road north along the river from Morrisville toward Washington Crossing. This residential community is the last Pennsylvania stop on the SEPTA R3 railroad line from Philadelphia to Trenton.
